The fifth grade students had more visits with Marnie this week with a lot of time spent outside in the beautiful weather! Lincoln School started "Morning Greetings with Marnie" this week. Marnie has been sitting at the entrance of the school when students arrive each morning. The students have been wonderful following expectations of no petting Marnie, silent hellos, or a soft hello as they pass by her. Marnie is learning to sit the entire time while being exposed to noises and crowds, and she had a great first week!

Students from Mrs. Reynolds and Mrs. Goodbred’s classes had fun making patriotic anagrams during their kinder buddies time!

Red, White & Blue Day!
A big “THANK YOU” goes out to the Oglesby Elks for their very generous donation to students in need in our District! Pictured (L to R): Ken Ficek, Oglesby Elk’s, Jordan Pyatt, OPS Nurse, Kelly Legrenzi, OPS Social Worker, Sam Sankovich and Gary Ferrari, Oglesby Elk's.

The fourth grade students made Flying Machines just like in the book "Rosie Revere". They had to test them on a zipline to make sure Rosie didn't fall out!

There is no school this Monday, September 2nd!

Marnie had a great week getting to know some of the students in Mr. Pierce and Mrs. Reynold's fifth grade classes! They visited Marnie in the office and had one-on-one time with her! The students did a great job following expectations and making Marnie feel loved!
