Both 5th grade classes at Lincoln School completed a virtual mission with Heartland Community College's Challenger Learning Center today! To align with their solar system unit in science, students worked in teams (Geology, Navigation, Conditions, and Rover) to determine the most suitable destination on Mars and its moons for humans to inhabit. Both classes successfully completed the mission!
Members of the Environmental Club recently designed t-shirts and sold them to the community. All fundraising proceeds were split up and donated to 3 local pet shelters-IVAR, Pet Project, Inc., and The A.R.K. Thank you to everyone who has supported our club! Congratulations to Tyler DeBrock for winning the IBCA (Illinois Basketball Coaches Association) Coach of the Year for our district! He received an award at the IBCA Coach of the Year Award Luncheon at Illinois State on Saturday, May 4th, and was even able to meet former Illini, Dee Brown. Way to go!
