Mrs. Myer took 8th grade history students to the Oglesby Public Library during their class today. Library Director Jeanne Struna helped the students find sources related to their topics for History Fair. Students checked out books and browsed local history primary sources. They recorded the sources and used their phones to take a photo of sources that could not leave the library.
Thanks so much to Jeanne and the library staff for their help with our students!

The Oglesby Preschool for All Program hosted a Storybook Trail Event on Monday evening at Lincoln! Families were invited to walk around the playground while choosing books to read and gathering up natural materials like leaves, twigs and bark. The families then were able to use the materials to make a beautiful bookmark, participate in a book swap, and sign up for their very own library card courtesy of the Oglesby Library with Director Jeanne Struna. They also snuck in a little playground fun on the beautiful evening! The Preschool Program has openings available if you would like to join us! Call 815-883-9137 for info on enrolling your 3-4 year old!
