First grade students spent last Friday in Ancient Egypt and Ancient Mesopotamia. They fished for tricky words in the Nile, made boats to float down the Tigris and Euphrates to trade to other civilizations, wrote their names in cuneiform and hieroglyphs, and found different places in Mesopotamia.
The 3rd through 5th grade students went bowling at the Dickinson House today as the culmination of their bowling unit in P.E. Thank you to the Oglesby City Parks and Recreation Department for allowing the students to bowl! They had a great time!
Our K-2 students had their P.B.I.S. celebration this afternoon with fun activities in the gym!

We celebrated the 7th Grade Boys' Basketball Team and Cheerleaders this afternoon with a parade starting at Lincoln School which continued through Oglesby and back to Washington School! We are all so proud of our Bulldogs and their amazing accomplishments! Congratulations to the team and cheerleaders on an incredible season that will go down in history! Go Bulldogs!
