Thanks you so much for everyones involvement and generosity for our St. Jude Mathathon this year! The community including parents, local businesses, and especially students have really come together for a great cause! This year we raised $5,130.16 for a four year total of $18,190.16. That total is truly amazing in a small community, and it shows a great amount of compassion and generosity in our local area. As a part of that total, in our second Mathathon staff versus student basketball game we raised the following: 50/50 tickets - $144, Admissions - $356, Total - $500. There was certainly a buzz about the game at school the next day!

Ms. Pearson's 5th graders designed and built Santa's sleigh in Science class today. Their goal was for their sleigh to slide down a slope and land safely! They added presents (blocks) for an extra challenge and increased the slope. Most of Santa's presents were delivered safely! :)

Ms. Pearson's 5th grade class performed a readers’ theatre mystery about who stole Santa’s list. They transformed the classroom into Santa’s home, workshop, and the home of the Anderson family for their performance! Each student played an important role in creating props, reading their lines, and solving the mystery.
