
The kindergarten students built a safe wall for Humpty Dumpty after reading the story "After the Fall".





Fourth and Fifth grade students had their second Book Club meeting under the direction of Mrs. Reynolds. They are currently reading a historical fiction story Called Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis. The story takes place during the Great Depression and follows a young boy in search of his father. They has student-led discussions on topics in the novel that were important to them. 📚🤓

Marnie had a great week visiting with Mrs. Ernat and Ms. Simpson's second grade students! They were able to take Marnie on an inside walk, play fetch, watch her tricks, cuddle with her and even read her a story! Marnie is one lucky pup!

Congrats to the 8th grade boys' basketball team for winning the conference tournament this weekend with a 49-25 win over Tonica, 44-16 win over Wallace, and a 37-17 win against Marquette. Way to go Bulldogs! Both 7th and 8th grade teams play again tonight Monday, Jan. 13 at 5:00 p.m. at Holy Family.



The cast of Matilda the Musical Jr. had their first read through this morning! The show will be March 7th and March 8th at Washington School.

Marnie had a great week back getting to know some of the second grade students at Lincoln School! She will spend the next several weeks visiting second grade students and then will move on to first grade and kindergarten!
