Family Reading Night is this Thursday, November 18, 6-7:30 p.m. at Lincoln School. Students will preview the fair prior to the family night. Parents/Grandparents are encouraged to join their students at the book fair during the family reading night. Spirit Day!
This Friday, November 19th is Superhero Shirt Day!


The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Waltham Monday night for their conference tournament. The 8th grade played a great game, but fell to Milton Pope. The 7th grade defeated Marseilles and move to the next round on Wednesday where they will face Ottawa Marquette at 5:30 p.m.

The Student Council wrapped up its Annual Food Drive last Friday. Washington School had a total of 1,807 items donated. The winning class was Mr. Flodstrom's 8th grade with 433 items! Lincoln School had a total of 1,996 items. The winning class was Ms. Entwistle's 4th Grade with 325 items donated. Thank you to the Oglesby Community for your generosity! All items are donated to the Illinois Valley Food Pantry.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 10th is a 2:00 dismissal day!


The 7th and 8th grade boys' basketball teams won over Dimmick last night with 7th grade 33-21 and 8th grade 43-9. Way to go Bulldogs! The next games are against Ottawa Marquette this Wednesday, November 10th at home.

Mrs. Quinn's kindergarten class enjoyed a scavenger hunt on this beautiful fall day!



Washington School will be hosting a Veterans' Day Concert in honor and in memory of veterans Thursday, November 11th. The doors will be open at 2:00 p.m. to veterans and all of our families to hear our band play patriotic songs. Masks will be required for entry into the building.
