Spirit Day!
The first OPS Spirit Day will be Monday, September 11th - Red, White and Blue Day!
OPS is happy to announce that we are working with A+ School Photography this year for school pictures and yearbooks! Students will not need to bring order forms or money on picture days. Families will receive an email link to their child's personal portrait gallery . All orders are shipped directly to the buyer. Mark your calendars!
Parent Information Night at Lincoln School is tonight, Tuesday August 22nd from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Introductions will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Lincoln School Gym.
Junior High Athletic Meeting and School Information Night
On Monday, August 21 there will be an Athletic Meeting at 5:30p.m. for all students who are interested in participating in athletics this school year. Following the Athletic Meeting will be the Junior High School Information Night starting at 6:00 p.m. and running until 7:30 p.m. All parents will meet in the gymnasium for a brief introduction/opening by Mr. Burns, principal. Following that introduction parents will be allotted an opportunity to view and visit with all programming offered at the junior high school. The sections will be lead by a Student Council representative to ensure parent/students get to all of the locations in a relatively timely manner.

In-Person Registration is tomorrow August 1st from 10:00-6:00 PM at Lincoln School for grades Pre-K-8. Please attend in-person registration if you need to do any of the following:
All Pre-K Registration (Pre-K Registration not done online)
You have not registered your child online for K-8.
Turn in medical documents to the nurse such as school or sports physicals
Sign your child up for the school bus.
Pay registration fees.
Your child is new to the district this year.
Don't forget! There will be an Illinois Valley OSF Sports Physical Event Friday, July 28th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Illinois Valley Community College Gym (Building G). Sports physicals will be performed on a first-come, first-served, basis. The cost is $25 per sports physical. Please note that OSF will not have access to immunization records so the physicals will not be able to suffice for a "school physical" and will only be good for sports participation.
