Enjoy your spring break and we will see you back at OPS Monday, April 8th!

Mrs. Quinn's kindergarten students had fun doing a Jellybean Stem Project with their 5th grade buddies today!

Marnie, our therapy dog at Lincoln School, made her first classroom visits today with Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Porter and Ms. Pearson's students. Marnie is learning socialization skills and she had plenty of friendly faces and contact with the students to make for wonderful visits! The students did a great job remaining calm and letting Marnie come to them as she felt comfortable. She also gave out several kisses today!

Second Grade Bridge Builders!

Ms. Pearson’s fifth grade students helped out first grade today by hiding eggs for their annual egg hunt! Ms. Coble and Mrs. Pescetto’s students found 120 eggs! They had an egg-cellent time!

All year long students who scored 65% or higher on the national iReady test got to do some extra fun learning activities. Some of the activities have been participation with STEAM room, Art club or independent studies. Recently, these students focused their efforts on bridge building prior to the contest being held at Dimmick School. Congratulations to all of the participants for their efforts and experiences gained! A special congratulations to Randy S. and Eli H. for their bridge carrying the most weight from Washington with 15lbs!

In the spirit of March Madness and basketball, some LP players and coaches joined Ms. Pearson's fifth grade class for a STEM activity. Groups were challenged to build a basketball hoop and create a “throwing” device for their basketball. Brody, Lucas, Matthew, Finn, and Josh were the winning group. They made 4 baskets!

Students at Lincoln enjoyed a March Madness Reading Celebration for those who met their March reading goals. They enjoyed basketball, cheer, coloring and a Gatorade station. The students had some special guests show up - LP cheerleaders and basketball players!
