Last night Oglesby Lincoln School staff hosted their Annual Open House and Health and Safety Fair. Thank you to the 291 attendees and to the 31 presenters who participated! It was a great night of fun, learning and community!
The Lemonade Day Club's sale was a huge success last night with all businesses selling out their products and making a profit! Some businesses are donating either a portion or all of their tips to the local animal shelter for a total of $67.85! A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the event!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 19th is a 2:00 p.m. dismissal day!

The 4th and 5th grade Lemonade Day Club entrepreneurs are making final preparations for their sale which is tomorrow from 6:00-6:45 in the Lincoln School cafeteria. A variety of items will be for sale: cotton candy, slime, foam crafts, cake pops, and cookies. They can’t wait to see you there!

Today the 3rd grade classes at Lincoln had a guest speaker from the LaSalle County Soil & Water Conservation District. Audrey Moreno explained how soil was formed, what critters are in the soil, what textures make up soils, and the different soil horizons. They finished off by making edible soil horizons using crushed cookies, pudding, cocoa krispies and gummy worms!
Our Student Council will have a bake sale during the Spring Open House at Washington School, Thursday, March 6th from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
