Mrs. Ernat's second grade students made pics out of the number 1-0-0 to celebrate the 100th Day of School!

Mrs Pescetto’s first grade class spent the day doing various activities to celebrate the 100th day of school. Activities included painting 100 pieces of bubble gum in a bubblegum machine, making group pictures using 100 pattern blocks, writing 100 words that were found around the room, reading stories about the 100th day, bundling craft sticks into groups of 10 and counting to 100, and other activities. It was a fun day!

Marnie had another great week visiting students at arrivals and loving office visits with students who used their bulldog bucks to earn special time with her!

Lincoln School Activity Calendar February 2026

Good luck to the 8th grade volleyball team at the Burash Tournament starting tomorrow, Friday, January 30th in Grand Ridge. Go Lady Bulldogs!

Several members from Young Entrepreneurs Club learned a valuable lesson about the sharing side of making money. They donated their time and talent and sold their homemade products at Wednesday’s volleyball game. They made a total of $309 from customer purchases as well as direct monetary donations! All of this will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Thank you to everyone who supported this event. A special thank you to Mr. Sienza from Washington School for leading this “spirit of giving” project!

Good luck to the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams at the next home game, tonight, Wednesday, January 28th at 5:00 p.m. against Dimmick! The spirit theme for the night is "JERSEY NIGHT"! Go Lady Bulldogs!

If any families still have Dominos fundraiser forms to turn in please return them in tomorrow to the office at Lincoln and Washington Schools.

Friendly Lizards business partners spread good vibes Thursday night with their backpack lizards!

The 7th grade Volleyball tournament in Bureau Valley is cancelled for tomorrow, January 24th.

K-5 students participated in an assembly today performed by Dale Obrochta entitled the Art of Inflation. Dale emphasized the importance of being respectful, being responsible, and being safe at school while entertaining students with different balloon creations, singing and dancing!

Due to the inclement weather and forecasted extreme cold warning, Oglesby Public School District 125 will be closed Friday, January 23rd including all activities. The school lunch scheduled for Friday January 23rd will be changed to Monday, January 26th.
