Thank you to the community, including parents, local businesses, and especially the students for all of their help with the St. Jude Mathathon at Washington Junior High School! This year they raised $4,729 for a three-year total of $13,060! The total is truly amazing in a small community, and it shows the great amount of compassion and generosity in our local area!

Last night the 5th grade boys ended their season with a 16-5 loss at Holy Cross. The 6th graders defeated Holy Cross 33-25 to remain undefeated. They will finish their season at the Grand Ridge Tournament on January 6th and 7th.

For social skills this month, Mrs. Heiden's class has been learning that the holiday season is a time for giving and they discussed places that they could donate to in the community. From the profits they made with their cooking sales, they purchased items to donate to IVAR and PADS and today they delivered those items. The volunteers at IVAR had the students meet one of their dogs while they were there dropping off the donations!
There is an invasion of the drones at Washington School as students engage in STEAM enrichment!
