Ms. Pearson's 5th grade students had a blind date with a book on Valentine's Day! The students rotated and read different books for 10 minutes and then answered questions about genre setting and characters. They also indicated whether or not they liked the book. This activity allowed them to pick up a book they might not otherwise have chosen on their own. Ms. Pearson said she will be giving the students a list of their "perfect matches" based on their feedback.
