P.B.I.S. Parent letter

Dear Lincoln Parents/Caregivers,

Oglesby Schools has adopted a program known as P.B.I.S. (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports).

We will follow some universal principals throughout the district.   They are, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.

We will also use some specific phrases that we would like to make you aware of in order to help you better understand what your child is talking about.

For example, the phrase, "KHFOOTY", is something you will be hearing about.  t means, "Keep Hands, Feet, & Other Objects To Yourself".  And "RAA" means Respect All Adults.

Another phrase we will be using in the hallway and when lining up to help remind us of personal space is, "In a square, save a square", which refers to the square tiles on the floor and how to leave a space between ourselves and the friends around us.

The students will be learning about "Cool Tools" to help them be the best BULLDOG they can be. We hope that you will begin to use these tools at home to help us continue to build a strong connection between home and school.

Attached you will find some of the "Cool Tools" we will be using. If you have an questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,

The Oglesby Staff
