Junior High Performed "Beauty
On February 10th & 11th, Oglesby Washington gymnasium came to life with their fifth musical, Disney's Classic, Beauty and the Beast Jr. The brainy and beautiful Belle yearned to escape her provincial life...and her brute of a suitor, Gaston. However, Belle got more adventurous than she wanted when she became a captive in the Beast's enchanted castle! Dancing flatware, menacing wolves, and singing furniture filled the stage with thrills in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jr., a beloved fairy tale about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love.
Familiar songs such as "Be Our Guest" and "Beauty and the Beast" were performed, along with many other songs.
