Girls' Basketball
The 5th and 6th grade Lady Bulldogs concluded their seasons on Tuesday night at Holy Family. The 5th grade team ended the season with a record of 11 wins and 3 losses. The 5th grade won the Lady Bulldog Classic by defeating Putnam County and Marseilles.
The 6th grade girls ended their season with a record of 12 wins and 3 losses. The 6th grade girls finished second in the Lady Bulldog Classic with victories over Putnam County and Wallace before falling in the championship game to Marseilles.
The girls had a very successful season! They improved as the season went on and learned quite a bit. I thoroughly enjoyed coaching them this season and look forward to watching them grow and improve as a team in the future!

The 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams have concluded play this week after both teams had outstanding seasons. The 7th grade girls lost to Bloomington Holy Trinity in the 7-2A sectional tournament while the 8th grade girls lost to Putnam County in 7-2A semi-final regional play. 7th grade finished the season with a record of 18-4 along with a Vermilion Conference championship and a regional championship while the 8th grade girls finished their excellent season with a record of 17-4.
It was a pleasure to coach these fine young ladies and congratulations on their outstanding seasons and looking forward to next year.
