Welcome to Oglesby District #125
On behalf of District #125, the board of education, faculty and staff, I would like to welcome everyone back to another school year. We look forward to working with you to help maintain a safe and positive educational atmosphere for the students of Oglesby Schools.
The first day of school for students is on August 20th and will be a full day of classes. You should have been given a paper copy of the school calendar at registration, but you can also find it here on the website by clicking on the calendar button on the front page. We will also be updating the extra-curricular calendars so that parents are aware of scheduled games and events throughout the year.
The first day of classes for our PreSchool students is on August 25th. Our preschool teachers will be contacting parents to line up home visits that will take place on August 20th, 23rd and 24th.
Please make sure that you take a chance to visit our website from time-to-time to keep track of the many events and opportunities offered here. We try to keep the website full of information that helps in our communication with the community as well as the parents of the children attending our schools.
The website gives us an opportunity to make everyone more aware of many aspects of the school and we will continue to be adding to it and updating it throughout the year. Already we are able to provide an easy access for Teacher Ease (our student management system as well as the system that allows parents and students to keep up with assignments, grades, attendance, and behavior logs).
