Lady Bulldog Classic
Fifth and Sixth Grade Girls Basketball Teams Win
Congratulations to the 5th and 6th grade girls basketball teams for winning the Lady Bulldog Classic which was held at Washington School on October 14th, 16th, and 17th. During the tournament, the 5th grade team defeated Wallace to reach the championship game. In that game, they played Grand Ridge and won in what Coach Hancock called, "A battle of the defense".
The 6th grade team started the tournament by also defeating Wallace. They continued advancing to the championship game by defeating Marseilles Elementary. In the championship game, they defeated Putnam County 18-12 to win first place. Good job girls!
