Meet the Oglesby District 125 School Board Members
The District is governed by a Board of Education consisting of 7 members. The Board's powers and duties include the broad authority to adopt and enforce all necessary policies for the management and government of the the public schools.
Official action by Board of Education members must occur at a duly called and legally conducted meeting. "Meeting" is defined as any gathering of the majority of a quorum of Board of Education members for the purpose of discussing School District business.
Board of Education members, as individuals, have no authority over school affairs, except as provided by law or as authorized by the Board.
The Board of Education meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the media center at Lincoln School. The normal meeting time is 5:30 p.m.
